More About Mariah!


Mariah completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at IUP’s Pittsburgh East Campus in 2024.

She has leadership experience working in tech with a global team where she developed a love of mentoring and coaching others. From this role, she began to develop skills to approach each person she meets as an individual and developed a passion for listening to the unique aspects of each person’s story.

She has experience working with children and adults with ADHD and ASD while working previously as an intern with Connection Counseling & Consultation. She has worked as a community inclusion coach in a school environment, a positive behavior support intern at the JCC and J&R summer camp, and also provided executive functioning coaching via telehealth. During her graduate school program, she gained experience working with young women to develop communication skills, relationship building skills, and emotion processing skills. Mariah approaches clients from a client first perspective and believes in the importance of clients owning their stories. She also has experience working with attachment-based concerns and providing psychoeducation on healing from attachment-based wounds. She enjoys helping people to navigate their past experiences while embracing hope and change for the future.

In her free time Mariah enjoys writing and going for walks. She shares three cats with her fiancé including a super senior and two youngsters. She is looking forward to working with more clients in the upcoming year!
