Harlow earned their BA in Sociology from Louisiana Tech University and their Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University as of August 2023. They received their license in December 2025 and are currently in the credentialing process with insurance panels.

Harlow has 5 years of experience with neurodivergent individuals in a therapeutic environment both as a masters student intern and now as a counselor.

Harlow’s sociology degree gave them a passion for underserved communities, especially Neurodivergent people. When they first decided to get their Master’s in Counseling Psychology, their goal was to work with autistic people with a non-pathologizing approach, being part of the movement toward affirming unique wiring–not trying to change or fix people to seem neurotypical.

During graduate school, Harlow worked for UPMC Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC) on the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study out of UCSD, where they could interact with children and families participating in the study.

They did their practicum and internship at Pitt Career Center and fostered a passion for helping people identify and achieve their career goals and will enjoy incorporating those skills into their work at Connection not only in terms of career, but improving executive function, and routine building as well. Over the summer of 2023 they worked as a master’s student intern at J & R Day Camp supporting neurodiverse kids in real time. Harlow loved being a part of making camp an accessible place for everyone.

Harlow graduated with their master’s degree in August of 2023 and has been a part of the CC&C team for 3 years. Their experience includes Autism, ADHD, Gender Dysphoria, Life transitions, Depression, and Anxiety.

Harlow takes a strength-based and individualized approach and is willing to throw out the rule book and work with you to find strategies that fit your unique strengths and challenges. They do not believe that autism is something that needs to be fixed. Their goal is to help their clients effectively navigate in a neurotypical world.
