More About Elle!

In 2014, Elle moved from a small town outside Harrisburg to the city of Pittsburgh to attend college. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. After graduation, she plans to obtain her behavioral specialist license and become a licensed professional counselor.

In 2018, Elle received her B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh. During undergrad, she was involved with research into the social skills and social behaviors of young children. In graduate school, she does research through Chatham University’s IDEALS Research Lab on the Define It! research project. Define It! focuses on sexual assault, especially in reference to bystander intervention and continued education.

Currently, Elle works at UPMC’s Therapeutic Early Autism Program in the Southside.  She works with preschool-aged children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as a Behavioral Health Technician. She works in both an individual therapy one-on-one room and a group therapy room to enhance her clients’ lives and build skills to help them thrive in all settings. Elle is the recipient of the H.A.P.P.Y. fellowship at Chatham University, which focuses on training in integrated care within different marginalized communities.

Elle enjoys studying and working with a range of populations. However, she is the most passionate about working with children and adolescents, especially those in the neuro-divergent and low-income groups.

Outside of work, Elle can be found among friends and family, going on adventures, walking her poodles, and enjoying an active life.
