More About Christina!
Christina is currently pursuing her master’s in counseling psychology from Chatham University and received her BA in Psychology from Point Park in 2015. Christina has had experience working with neurodiverse children since she graduated with her BA. She has worked one on one with individuals as a TSS helping them navigate their way through different environments such as the home, school, daycare, and the community. She also guided teachers and parents on how to support the children in these environments.
She also has experience working at a behavioral health school where she supported multiple children with a wide range of diagnoses. She collaborated with teachers, therapists, psychiatrists, and other school staff to support each child based on their own unique needs.
Additionally, she currently is a family-based therapist, where she provides family therapy, collaborates with the family’s other providers, and assists with crisis management. Through family-based, she started to see clients through an exosystemic lens, allowing her to see how the family dynamic can influence each individual and how to facilitate the family’s journey to change.
Christina grew up near Reading, PA, and ventured out to Pittsburgh for college. Since then, she grew fond of the city and decided to place some roots here. n her free time, Christina enjoys exploring nature, and spending time with her family, her friends, and her two cats: Lilly and Nelson.
She also values traveling to different places where she can gain a deeper appreciation for other cultures and venturing to new environments to hike.
